These Terms of Service govern your use of the Crest Industrial Chemicals website. Please read them before using the website, requesting a quote, or relying on technical information.
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Crest Industrial Chemicals, Inc. (“Crest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that governs your use of crestchemicals.com, including its pages, technical library, specification search, and forms (the “Website”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
If you use the Website on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organization.
Who may use the Website
The Website is intended for businesses and professionals who purchase, specify, or use industrial chemical products. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.
Product and technical information
Product descriptions, technical data sheets, application guidance, specification listings, and other technical content on the Website (“Technical Information”) are provided to help you evaluate Crest products. Technical Information is general guidance based on our testing and experience. It is not a warranty or a guarantee of results.
- Results depend on your substrate, equipment, process conditions, water quality, and application methods, which are outside Crest’s control. You are responsible for testing and confirming that a product is suitable for your use before relying on it in production.
- Technical data sheets may be revised without notice. Contact Crest to confirm you have the current version.
- Technical Information does not replace the product label or the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Always read the label and the current SDS before handling, storing, using, or disposing of any product.
- Nothing on the Website is legal, regulatory, engineering, or other professional advice. Where a decision depends on a specification, contract, or regulation, confirm the requirement with the responsible authority.
Safety Data Sheets and certificates are available on request. Call (800) 622-9006 or email sales@crestchemicals.com.
Safe handling and regulatory compliance
Industrial chemicals can be hazardous if handled or used improperly. Products should be handled only by trained personnel using the protective equipment, ventilation, and procedures described in the SDS.
You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your purchase, storage, transport, use, and disposal of products, including workplace safety, environmental, hazardous materials transportation, and chemical substance regulations. Product-specific regulatory notices on the Website, such as the methylene chloride disclosure statement, are part of the Technical Information and should be read in full.
Military specification and standards listings
The Website lists military specifications, Qualified Products Database (QPD) listings, and OEM standards associated with Crest products. These listings are provided for reference. Specifications and qualification status can change, and revision letters matter. Before ordering against a specification or contract, confirm the current revision, the qualification status, and your contract requirements with Crest.
Quote requests and orders
Sending a request through the Website is a request for information or pricing. It is not an order and does not create a contract.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices, availability, and lead times are estimates and may change until an order is accepted.
- All orders are subject to acceptance by Crest and are governed by the terms and conditions on Crest’s quotation, order acknowledgment, or invoice. If those terms conflict with these Terms, those terms control for that order.
Administration accounts
Parts of the Website are restricted to authorized Crest personnel. Do not attempt to access restricted areas without authorization. Authorized users are responsible for keeping their sign-in credentials secure and for activity under their accounts.
Acceptable use
When using the Website, you agree not to:
